Apart from 5 years in Liverpool where he achieved his dental degree in 1990, Rob has lived in and around Solihull for his whole life and has treated patients in this area for over 30 years. He is also a non-practising solicitor with a special interest in law and ethics and is often invited to give talks to the dental profession on dento-legal issues.
For the past 15 years Rob has been involved in the training of dentists in their first year in general dental practice. He served for 10 years as a member of the General Dental Council’s Fitness to Practice panel, the last 5 of which he was a Chair.
Rob is currently a Clinical Dental Advisor for NHS England and also chairs the West Midlands Managed Clinical Network for Urgent Care.
Rob was recently honoured to have been admitted as a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry.
