If you have gaps that you wish to fill or teeth that are not saveable, dental bridges can be used to replace these teeth. Bridges are a fantastic, fixed alternative to dentures that do not require surgery.
Dental bridges are attached to one or both of the teeth next to them to fix them into place. They are used to fill the space with a functional and aesthetic tooth.
The procedure: There are 2 main types of bridges: bonded and conventional. Bonded bridges are simply stuck to the teeth next to them with little or no preparation (drilling) required. Conventional bridges are attached to a crown which is placed on the tooth or teeth next to them.
Much like with our crowns and onlays, we use a digital scan to provide our specialised dental technicians with a precise model of your teeth/mouth in order for them to create the perfect bridge for us to fit.
