If you have teeth at or near to the front of your mouth that you wish to change the appearance of then veneers may be the recommended treatment option for you. Whether it be due to tooth wear, visible fillings with poor aesthetics or simply teeth you wish to change the size, shape or colour of the veneers can achieve your desired outcome.
Veneers are placed to cover the visible surfaces of teeth whilst the other surfaces remain untouched.

The procedure: Your tooth will often require no underlying preparation prior to a veneer being placed. However, sometimes a minimal amount of preparation is required to reduce the visible surface sufficiently for an optimal fit and outcome. The procedure will be entirely pain-free and will last from 15 to 30 minutes for a single tooth, with regular breaks as you require to maintain your comfort.

A digital scan (replacing traditional gooey impressions/moulds) will then be taken of the tooth, which our specialised dental technicians will use to design your veneer, prior to us simply fitting this into your mouth at a visit a week or two later. A temporary veneer will be fitted in the interim time. You can usually eat straightaway.
The result with veneers will be tailored specifically to your needs and wishes. We may recommend a ‘trial’ appointment prior to the final fit so we can ensure everything looks exactly as it should. Or perhaps a consultation alongside our dental technician so we can discuss your outcome directly with them too.
